We were formed in 1976 with a brand new Pumper. Today we operate out of a single station, with a fleet consiting of 1 BLS equipped Ambulance and 2 Engines. We have a roster of 1 Chief,2 Assistant Chiefs,2 Captains,2 Lieutenants and approximatley 16 firefighters. We cover the Town of Oceantown, as well as the surrounding area. We respond to around 150-200 calls per year. We are Layuga County Station 8.
